Our origins are shrouded in mystery. Some accounts trace the Unemployed Philosophers Guild's birth to Athens in the latter half of the 4th century BCE, while others argue it dates from the High Middle Ages. More recently, historians have pinpointed the birth of the Guild to New York City in the late 90s, when two brothers turned their inner creativity and love of paying rent towards fulfilling the people's needs for finger puppets, warm slippers, coffee cups, and cracking up at stuff.

Van Gogh's Sunflower soap is a like a little Provence for your powder room. Keep this object like a treasure, or use it to get your hands really clean. Give it to someone to let them know: "I like you just the way you Arles." In retrospect, this will come to be considered your most important soap. Sunflower lavender scent.
